Prompt: People Often Try To Imagine Crossing Over - From Episode 05

People often try to imagine crossing over and indeed, many will be full of preconceptions about what exists beyond the veil. Let me disabuse you of your fanciful notions. When you die, there are no harps or clouds or anything like that. All life is part of the energy continuum. When you pass you merely transform from one type of energy to another. In this new spirit form, the dead person is apt to continue on serenely, never again being bothered by show horns or pheasants, or indeed any of the minutiae of human life. When a spirit medium such as I, call’s a spirit back down to the earthly realm, they will often encounter some resistance. This explains why many spirits give very distracted answers to questions in séances. Typically speaking in rather polite banalities, or talking very vaguely about their lives. This can be hard on the psychic medium, because it means that what they channel from the other side can sound well, unconvincing. But despite the doubters, mediums will often persist simply for the joy it brings their sitters; rather than for any financial inducement, which, when you think about the service we're providing is basically negligible anyway.
